Michael Sassani, R.I.P.Mike was among many other things a photographer that took live shots of us as well as two different sessions of promo photos. He also put together the cover of our new album. He died last month from health complications. He was a friend of the band and a personal friend of Taryn and myself.

Phil Vane - R.I.P.One of the vocalists and founding members of Extreme Noise Terror, Phil Vane passed away this month. ENT was a huge influence on me both musically and lyrically for Enemy Soil. There's even some Enemy Soil songs that have parts that are embarrasingly similar to ENT songs.
I had the chance to interview Phil via phone once for my zine, and he was friendly, open and smart. Then when I met him at the Auditory Assault festival, I saw he was just as cool in person. I was sad to hear the news about him.
